MEg DOUGLAS M.Ed., RCT-C

Director of Education and Wellness

Registered Counselling Therapist

Meg has a B.Ed. in Physical Education from McGill University and Masters in Education: Counselling from Acadia University. Meg has grown up riding and competing in the hunter/jumping rings in the 'A' circuit in Ontario and had the opportunity to ride at Spruce Meadows on her trusted horse Sterling.  She was inspired having grown up riding with some of Canada's top athletes. Continuing  with horses after her show career, Meg worked in equestrian show management as an ingate for EMG at Palgrave and various shows in Ontario and Quebec. It was through this job that Meg developed an understanding of what it takes to not only participate in the equestrian sport, but to manage the business side as well. Now, having young girls who also fell in love with the sport, creating a space where kids can develop an appreciation for nature, horsemanship and community is the vision for Sunnyridge.
